Tom Coates rather liked it at the London preview. As did The Londonist. I link to these so you know it isn’t just me who’s banging on about the damned thing – even people who’ve seen it seem to be enthusiastic.

Speaking as one of those who has seen it (courtesy of a friend who managed to hit one of the ticketing websites in the 4 mins before they sold out), I have to say that the film is pretty darned fan-ruddy-tastic.
The thing I like about Whedon is that he’s not your standard writer – just listen to his commentary behind the Firefly episode “Objects in Space”. Detail oriented? Um, just a tad. World of his own? Yes, but he’s been kind enough to share. I’d strongly recommend a visit.
Have just seen Serenity and it is indeed the dog’s doodahs. I’m not really as Buffy fan, but this was great ( and the women! …) Great fun, a western in space.
